Donald J. Trump and Rudy Giuliani have a lot in common. United in hate, they have both made disparaging remarks in attempts to throw deathblows to the reputation of blacks, Mexicans and Muslims. None of their remarks have been as vile as those they have fired at black people. Trump claimed that most white murder victims are killed by blacks. Giuliani chose to turn the issue around 180 degrees, focusing on black-on-black violence. He stated on national television that the vast majority of black murders are committed by blacks. What he left out of this crime report was that the vast majority of white murders are committed by whites.
These types of attempts to breed hatred towards blacks make blacks vulnerable to whites like the Charleston, SC mass murderer, who justify their racial violence by quoting fools like Trump and Giuiliani.
America must not stand idly by as hate seeks the highest office in the land. The consequences may encourage the haters to come out and hate as much as they did back in the pre-60’s and 60’s. Is this what Trump means when he says the wants to “Make America Great Again.” Perhaps a better more revealing slogan would be “Make America Hate Again.”
